Singleton Rugby Union Club was established in 1967 and participates in the Newcastle Premiership competition of NSW Rugby Union. Under the Bulls banner, we have 3x Grades and 1x Colts team competing, with 1st Grade participating in the prestigious Newcastle Hunter Rugby Union Competition. We also have very strong support in our Junior clubs and associated Junior Representative teams.
The Singleton Rugby Club has a long history of successful competition with the most recent trophy being the 2nd and 3rd Grade Premierships in 2007. Representative players of both international and national standard figure prominently in the Clubs history. Past players include Wallabies such as Steve Merrick and Josh Valentine, and a vast Number of NSW State and Country representative players.
Home games are played on at the Singleton Rugby Oval at Howe Street Singleton, with the adjacent licenced Clubhouse the venue for after match celebrations.
